  That impressive and large eating bone- vulture soaring through the really high and rugged terrain of Europe, Asia and Africa--the lammergeier or bearded vulture. This vulture is not 'greedy' as the other vultures and has more of a 'polite' manner of eating.  Good morning one and all I'm reading a book titled 'encyclopedia of ugly animals'. Title meant to be humorous, many feel no animal is really ugly, not so. Granted, some animals, like certain spiders, can in deed be a bit creepy, but i do not find them ugly-as with many listed within this book. However, there is once i glance over, stall and then read a bit more as it is intrigues me: The useful and strange marabou stork.   This is a large bird, can reach 1.5 meters and guess what other bird is found within this sub Saharan bird's family? The vultures  No surprise really as this large stork is primarily a scavenger and like vultures essential to maintain the health of an ecosystem.   BLUE WILDEBEEST ‘Connochaetes taurinus’ This sighting felt like magic. To me wildebeests are itself mystic creatures. What do you think of them?
