  A coalition is a group formed when two or more people agree to work together, often temporarily, in a partnership to achieve a common goal. What is this common goal in the realm of male lions? Total domination! These 3 incredible lions are a part of a larger coalition. The 4 th male is elsewhere but together they rule the southern regions of the Mara triangle in the Serengeti. Still, even though they are formidable force, they are not clear of risk. Just a few weeks ago, one of their brothers was killed by a rival coalition from the south.
