An older male lion’s full mane may look a bit less full and more bedraggled as time moves on. The reason for the seeing far older, dominant lions [as pretty much all older, wild dominant reveal sparser manes] is not due to age, directly, but due to the silent testimony of many vicious battles. Although lions do not concentrate on their mane area when fighting [concentrate on lower spinal area to inflict the greatest amount of bodily damage], these manes do not escape battles as within that violent and often brutal fight, the successful dominant/s mane inadvertently falls victim to their opponent’s a claw/s or teeth. This is also big reason why the lionesses prefer a fuller mane in the majority of lions as a full mane is great indicator to his powerful fighting skills and undeniable protective strength. In their admiring eyes he has won and fought many battles and he ‘still looks this good – surely a winner’. However there is no male lion winner when you fight time.  info@enta...

Giraffe birth are a bit of traumatic event, to the casual observer. The mother does not lie down to give a birth--that means the calf drops to the hard earth in a rather ungraceful way. The calf drops a distance about 6 feet, but can reach a staggering 8 foot drop. There is a good reason for this birth-- the fall shocks the system and the calf has a far better chance of breathing air and general survival. Please come witness the action and go tell a friend about this amazing experience in the beautiful #serengeti Inquire now; info@entawuoexpedition.com #africa #tanzania #nature #naturematata #naturephotography #naturemagic #wanderlust #adventure #djnorizm #mangokiliadventure #ngu #natgeo #bbc #bbcearth #tanzaniasafari #tanzaniaunforgettable #exploringtheglobe #africanature #tourism #instagram #travel #travelgram #instatravel #wildafrica #adventuretime #tour #africasafari #instanature .

That impressive and large eating bone- vulture soaring through the really high and rugged terrain of Europe, Asia and Africa--the lammergeier or bearded vulture. This vulture is not 'greedy' as the other vultures and has more of a 'polite' manner of eating. This unique vulture almost entirely eats bones and eats them, contrary to other vultures that gorge themselves silly and to the point where they are too heavy to fly well [that is why you see them sitting around a carcass as they are resting aiding digestion ].  The lammergeier is a steady -consumer and eats only about 8% of its body weight per  day.          Taking you off to great memories www.entawuoexpedition.com info@entawuoexpedition.com.
