 The word jaguar derives from the native American word “Yaguar”, which means the one who kills with one leap ; This wild big cat has extremely strong jaws and boasts the strongest bone structure of any cat -due to this, they have a unique killing method and with only one bite, can kill its mammalian prey with one bite by clamping down on its skull and its canines puncture the brain. -this is the last living animal of its genus and threatened with extinction, currently at IUCN status of ‘near threatened’

A day knowledge

  Wild lions do have a growing problem. A really big one. Due to them now forced into a small fragment of their historic hunting grounds, thanks to hunting, persecution and habitat loss, what was once a 'no-no' is now happening.  Inbreeding.  The fewer lions we see have resulted in a depleted gene pool -- thereby, creating a weaker lion -- which we still believe is not possible... Their wonderful diversity, their large gene pool once naturally available, is no longer there. Our general population does not yet notice their slow destruction.
